Increase your capacity to establish classroom routines that increase student agency and ownership of their learning. Test drive apps that promote deeper learning and decrease teacher prep time. We will look at the connections between routines, social-emotional learning, and culturally responsive teaching. Then, explore low-prep and no-prep high-impact activities that teach content and noncognitive skills and reinforce executive functioning skills. We will examine and build upon your current classroom routines by exploring beginning, middle, and end activities for a range of learning environments. Finally, curate a library of go-to activities that decrease your prep time and increase student engagement. Examples include integrating content knowledge and community-building into daily check-ins, learning routines that encourage collaboration, and establish students as owners of their own learning journeys.
